
Kelly Ripa, born on October 2, 1970 is a singer, dancer show host, actress and television producer. Ripa is known best for her work on the ABC soap opera All My Children and the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. She is also the co-host of "Live With Kelly and Ryan" the morning talk show, from 2001. Ripa is, together with her spouse Mark Consuelos and their Milojo production company that is based out of New York, owns the business. Kelly Maria Ripa was raised and born in Berlin, New Jersey, the daughter of Esther Ripa a labor union leader for bus drivers, as well as Joseph Ripa. Linda Ripa is the sister of Ripa and is a well-known children's writer. Ripa is Catholic. Her father, who's been serving in the position of Democratic County Clerk of Camden County since 2009, was born in Camden County and raised there. She's also the first member of her family to pursue an acting field. When she was three, she began studying ballet. She also plays piano. Ripa graduated from Eastern Regional High in New Jersey and was an athlete. When she was in high school her drama instructor encouraged her to pursue a career as an actor. Her senior year was when she was noticed for her performance as a character in "The Ugly Duckling" in a production of an area theatre. Then she moved to Camden County College in order to major in psychology. She eventually was forced to leave to go from the area to New York City.
