Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson began her career as a child model and actress. Her most well-known television character is Alice Tyler, on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea was picked to portray Lynn Tanner in the popular television series ALF beginning in 1986. It was her first time working on various television shows and Movies of the week before she left the entertainment industry. Andrea Elson's portrayal of Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was captured during a stressful time in the life of Andrea Elson. People magazine published a retrospective of Elson's work in 2000. She said that growing up with a spotlight wasn't an easy task. This blonde New York City actress was born on March 6, 1970. Her father was employed in advertising and she ended up growing up travelling because of it. She was already in New York as well as Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles before she turned 10. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent, and the role she auditioned won. Fusco justified the statement with the statement "ALF is a veteran of 285 yrs, so he is an adult who is able to drink alcohol." As ALF's popularity grew with kids, NBC informed Fusco that it was not allowed to drink alcohol because the children were watching. The show was a poor example. Fusco believed ALF even though he was an adult, could do this. Alcohol... the death. He was diagnosed in 1995 with lymphoma. The treatment was successful and his cancer was in remission up until 2019. The cancer killed him on the 26th June, 2019, at 75. His funeral was held at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
