Angela Cartwright Urach

Veronica Cartwright played Cathy Brenner in Alfred Hitchcock's iconic 1963 horror movie The Birds. She was only 13 at the time of her casting. Bonanza was among the first westerns on television to have a color version of the broadcast. The plot was based on the Cartwrights, a fictional, family of ranchers living near Virginia City Nevada a real mining town during the latter part of the 1800s. The character of the show was Cartwright's son who was the youngest, and whose mom Marie (in the first episode, and later Felicia) had been widowed and whose daughter died from fever.
